Do you think this haircut would be hard to maintain?

What sort of things would I have to do as far as blowdrying gel etc. I have VERY straight hair but it is thick and I am not good with hair styling.

it doesn't look hard to maintain. it looks like a style you can shower and go. try a conair dryer and use moose not gel

No it looks easy. Get a hair strengthener so you can make your thick hair sleek and nice.

I had an inverted bob in high school (80's). God I'm old.

My hair is also dead straight. You need mouse and a med-lg round brush. The hardest thing is the back (mine always wanted to stick out if leaned my head on a head rest/couch).

Lightly mouse and then blow dry it using the round brush to make sure you curl it under. It won't take too long to dry since it's short.
