I really want short hair or maybe a bob. I like this length possible as short as pic 1 or maybe half an inch longer. I love the katie holmes bob and victoria beckhan one but i dont want it. It would not be attractive on me.

Try using big rollers or go get a roller wrap @ the salon, it gives the bob a really cute wave and body. Or flat iron it, put random flips in it. Always chang your part around and you can make a swoop bang and tuck the other parts behind your ear.

But I really suggest getting a roller wrap once a week or twice a month. It'll keep your hair in good condition. Also don't blowdry too often. Let it airdry and ask some1 to help you flat iron it really straight.

On a night when you're free go in front of the mirror and start playin around see what up do's you can do and what you can do w/ down do's. do half up half down to the back, side left right. And then down do's like flip the front left side of your hair to the right. just play around! good luck

I got my hair cut the other day so at the back it's pretty short (there's probably about an inch of hair) but today when I tried to style it after washing it the little hairs at the back sat straight out at the back as opposed to flat.

I tried to straighten it but that just seemed to make it worse.

My hair is in a bob, but it's just the back bit at the bottom I can't get!

Can anyone give me any tips to make it sit flat against my neck??

One thing you can do is to try to blow dry it in the direction that you want it to sit. If that doesn't help, you can try to use a really small amount of gel. Just make sure that it does not get crunchy. Good Luck :)

Ah, getting a new hair cut sometimes poses as quite a challenge when it comes down to styling. Here are a few tips I've learned along the way..

On damp hair apply Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. This helps smoothe and condition unruly hair. It's also a favorite non-chemical straightening product. Work that through the hair.

Then take a flat brush and blow dry your hair pulling away from your head. This will help aid you in keeping your hair straight.

Then flat iron your hair. A ceramic flat iron is ideal. Remember to seperate your hair and straighten it in sections. This ensures you won't miss any areas.

You can then finish it off with a spritz of hair spray!

My mum got her hair done like this.

A long term suggestion is to just let it grow,

then when you come to straighten it,

it will stay straight.

However put some straightening balm / sirum on.

Make sure you blow dry your hair and concentrate on that perticular area.

When its dry, apply a small amount of gel.

And if your young like me,

make sure it's not a greasy one.

clipper your hair on a no3 or 4 from the hair line upwards, to where you want, nobody knows and this will stay flat,and eventually train its self to stay in this position. ive been a hairdresser for 15yrs and its worked everytime, my customers still come back..............hope this helps you.

First nad foremost, black hair doesn't contain the oil that white hair does. DO NOT SHAMPOO YOUR HAIR EVERYDAY. It will dry the hair, make it brittle and it will break. The best option for growing your hair depends on the chemicals you use...If you are regularly relaxing your hair, make sure a conditioner is applied right after the relaxer(before the neutralizing shampoo). Shampoo your hair weekly, and make sure you condition like every other shampoo. Oil your scalp to maintain the moisture in the scalp and hair shaft. Get your hair trimmed regularly, and limit the use of products that contain alcohol. There is nothing wrong with sleeping with your hair in a wrap-it breathes all day long. Sleep in a silk hair wrap or cap to avoid breakage, or use a silk pillowcase. Have you ever asked your child a question too many times? My three-year-old son had a lot of problems with potty training and I was on him constantly. One day we stopped at Taco Bell for a quick lunch, in between errands. It was very busy, with a full dining room. While enjoying my taco, I smelled something funny, so of course I checked my seven-month-old daughter, she was clean. Then I realized that Danny had not asked to go potty in a while. I asked him if he needed to go, and he said "No". I kept thinking "Oh Lord, that child has had an accident, and I don't have any clothes with me." Then I said, "Danny, are you SURE you didn't have an accident?" "No," he replied. I just KNEW that he must have had an accident, because the smell was getting worse. Soooooo, I asked one more time, "Danny did you have an accident"? This time he jumped up, yanked down his pants, bent over, spread his cheeks and yelled "SEE MOM, IT'S JUST FARTS!!" While 30 people nearly choked to death on their tacos laughing, he calmly pulled up his pants and sat down. An old couple made me feel better, thanking me for the best laugh they'd ever had!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST TESTIMONY:

This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for 2 days and a very embarrassed female news anchor who will, in the future, likely think before she speaks. What happens when you predict snow but don't get any! We had a female news anchor that, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked: "So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?" Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too they were laughing so hard! Now, didn't that feel good?
