Help! i'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, and i need help! HURRY!!!?

i'm getting it cut tomorrow, i want the hairstyle where its short in the back and long in the front. its kind of scene. i know those kids have names for all of their hairstyles (coontail, peacock, etc.), so i was wondering if anyone knew it for this particular style. i'm getting it tomorrow, so help, quick! I also NEED pictures. (scene ones are the best, because they are the most dramatic. i have yet to find a good one, though.) it not really a bob (but the back is the same length as a bob, at the nape of the neck.), although the names i've heard for it are like inverted bob and asymmetrical bob. but those just aren't dramatic enough! lol. i want lots of layers too. and the pictures dont necessarily have to be scene, i'm just saying that that would be the highest probability of acheiving what i want.

Thanks so much!

My advice from experience would be to go into see a styleist and ask for a hair cut. Tell them you want to look hip! Trust me.... By the way ask for pricing. Haircut with color will be quite more expensive than just a haircut. Go for it!!!!!!!!!!

There's nothing hard about what you want but you have to get a very patient stylist with extra time who is willing to work with you. I always found it helpful if clients had a close up pic of themselves that they could take a sharpie pen and at least sketch some semblance of what they wanted. IMO it is just a modified bob. Keep the back short and the "shelf" high and angle the sides in longer. A good stylist will know what you mean. Good luck!
