Why so many straight hair, bangs in your face hairstyles?

What happened to the curled bangs in hairstyles? I'm getting tired of seeing the long bangs and even the bangs hanging in eyes hairstyles on both men and women. I am a woman and I personally miss the neat bobs, and curled hair style looks. Everything looks like the 70's... No ONE dared to wear the shag style in the 90's, and now that is all you see. I think it looks messy and uncared for. Anyone else think the same??

This is my opinion. Straight bangs on a girl look retarded! I just don't like it. Now if it's going diagnol and to the side it just depends on the person. on some it looks good on others um well they just need to find a new hairstyle! Now the guys... some guys look fab with the sort of 70's look! It makes them look awesome! On others it does make them look shaggy and ungroomed and I think that's when they need to spike it or something!

I have hair about to the middle of my rear and am always doing different styles. parting it on the side and swooping the hair and then doing like a donut bun on the side of my head or sometimes I poof the front a bit and leave it down straightened. Most of what I do is updos that are feminine and more elegant... there are so many things I can do since I've got long hair and the possibilities are endless!

Some ppl just need to realize that the current style doesn't always look good on them even if it does on there best friend!

That is what the style is and that is just how it goes I don't think that it looks that bad. No offense to you in any way but the neat bobs and curled hairstyles are out for the most part. the choppy look is in.

i honestly think that the straight-bangs hairstyle doesn't look messy nor uncared because it's rather dashing and neat to look at.

I am not a fan of curled bangs but then again I am not a fan of bangs in the eyes either lol the bob haircut is pretty if its on the right person if i were to do it of course i would look funny but someone else who could pull it off it would look good on I like my hair long and with tons of layers and I'm happy:) but no bangs in the eyes lol I don't like guys with the shag look i think it makes there hair look dirty i like short hair on a guy like a fade or something...
