Bad haircut?

i just moved into a new town and tried out a new hair salon (my old one was 3 hours away-so i had to find something new) and many people told me that it was very good. i went there and asked them to just give me a little trim(1 inch off) and thats it. The hairdresser said no problem. So i was sitting there reading a magazine and when i look up i see that alot more than one inch had been cut off. my hair that was about 4 inches past my shoulders was now ina bob above my shouldersI asked her what she was doing and she said that she wanted to try something different.

I told her that i was very dissapionted and that i was NEVER coming back.

I got home and started crying-its soo short i dont know wat to do%26lt;/3

Try to work with it until it grows back. Flip it out, straighten it, or curl it. And if not, get extensions.

Ask for a refund find a wig or get cute hair stuff

Wow, that hairdresser is awful! I would report her to her boss or whoever runs the hair salon.

I had that happen to me LONG time ago, and I got the same answer, "I wanted to try something different," well, I didn't care. I asked her to cut off one inch, not five! My step-mother reported her to the manager and that hair stylist got fired.

Don't worry...it will eventually grow! Just condition it a lot, eat good food, and never go back to that salon again!

Hey, at least she didn't give you a hot pink mohawk!

Bad haircut?

sue.....no kidding

Bad haircut?

Perhaps try going to another salon and see if they can fix it, maybe style it up a bit more. Honestly, that length isnt too bad. Try and make the best of a bad situation and see if you can find ways to style that cut the way you like it. That hairdresser was very rude and inconsiderate to try and style your hair any other way than the way YOU asked for it. I would complain to the person who runs the salon about her. In the meantime, don't panic too much, it WILL grow back.

Bad haircut?

well, first off - always pay attention when you are at the salon - especially a new one. i would've broken her nose for that.

the only thing you can do is make the best of it - get the ends razored, maybe some long side bangs - get some cute little clips - not much you can do but try and find a way to style it that you like.maybe highlights..

sorry. i know that sucks - i have had hair mishaps too, crying doesn't help, just have to deal. =)smile,im sure it looks good, not what you wanted, but good.

Bad haircut?

well when life gives u lemons u make lemonade right? just do the best u can with ur new hair and keep a positive attitude. who knows? you might even end up liking it. and if i were u then i would tell the manager because that hairstylist is not allowed to mess up ur hair like that because its UR hair.

Bad haircut?

It should be fine. Or if you really don't like it, put it in a ponytail. Out of every negative there is a positive.

Bad haircut?

First off all its very beautiful haircut and it really becomes you.

But it was very unprofessional for the hairdresser to change your looks without talking to you first.

I realize now hairdressers are the same all over the world.

Don't take it bad. You have fresh cut healthy hair, and they will grow longer soon.

Bad haircut?

I'm so sorry. I had the same problem about a month ago.

I wanted bangs like this:

I'm not so worried because it's grown a little, but I look sort of stupid. If you eat healthy, wash your hair regulary (but not too much, that damages hair), walk for about 15 minutes a day (gets blood flowing to your head), and honestly, this works: hang upside down for 30 seconds a day. I'm sure you can work out something. Wear it up for a while, or start curling it (use V05 Curvaceous Curls, you can get it at Wal-Mart.)

Bad haircut?

no use crying really -- figure out what you think you can do with what you have. i have gotten second hair cuts a few times. just go someplace else and explain you got a haircut you didn't want and maybe something short and less blunt then a bob would work for you better. also i have learned from lots of haircuts to NEVER let a woman you don't know cut your hair -- they are much more likely to never listen to what you want. if at any point you are in a situation where you feel the person isn't listening to you get up and leave. look the hair stylist in the eye when you are explaining what you want to them and if you don't get a look back get up and leave. the owner of the shop will usually side with you and you won't have to pay for anything. i came out looking like the mom on the brady bunch once -- i have no clue what drugs that chick was doing to make her think that was acceptable.

Bad haircut?

i totally feel you. the same thing happened to me today except i had longer hair (about 10 inches down my shoulder) and now it looks like a fluffy blob cuz of all the layering.

we'll just have to wait for it to grow out a bit.

i hope we get used to our new hair in the meantime =/
