Why is it a white girl cant be beautiful unless she skinny has long blonde hair and blue eyes and tannned skinned
And its like black girls cant be pretty unless they are curvasious have long (GOOD) hair and colored eyes like (hazel or green)
Whats with americas idea of beauty personally I think a white girl with brown hair and brown eyes is just as pretty even if she isnt a size 3
And I think I black girl thats brown or darkskin with a short cute bob thats a little on the skinny side is cute 2 whats with americas standards of beauty !!
Preception of beauty !!!?
America just like any other society has a distinct standard of beauty where girls have to be size 0 blond and blue-eyed. In Africa women who would be considered overweight here are revered highly. When it come down to it what make women attractive to men is confidence. I've seen people who are U.G.L.Y. (not necessarily overweight) and have the cutest boyfriends. So use what God gives you and be proud!! =)
Preception of beauty !!!?
Everyone is just weird and have their own ideas of pretty.
Preception of beauty !!!?
maybe thats what you think that america persives as beauty but looking through other eyes you would see differntly
Preception of beauty !!!?
Screw America's standards of beauty.
I have chin-length CURLY brown hair, almost-black eyes, pasty skin, and wear a size 12....and I turn heads at the mall. I don't know anyone who still believes in anything you just wrote. Do you have an image problem??? Real beauty is in self-confidence. When you know you're pretty, you exude beauty and people notice. THAT'S what beauty is.
Preception of beauty !!!?
I don't exactly agree with the perceptions you have about society. It's true that society can have ridiculous standards for beauty, but I think that many people would agree that beauty comes in many different packages. I'm white, a size 10, with short brown hair and blue eyes, and pretty pale and people tell me I'm pretty all the time. My best friend is over 200 lbs., has long brown curly hair and brown eyes, and is gorgeous. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder and when you take care of yourself and your looks and are confident, people really notice that, no matter what size or shape or color you are.
Preception of beauty !!!?
As the very popular saying goes, 鈥淏eauty is in the eye of the beholder!鈥?Many people have different views on what they consider to be beautiful which is why many people that I would view as unattractive are very beautiful in someone else鈥檚 eyes. The world today defines beauty based on outward appearances alone. You are not beautiful if you are not physically attractive. According to the world鈥檚 standards, beauty means being thin and tall. A clear complexion, shiny hair, straight teeth, radiant skin, and correct proportions are all elements of beauty. Unfortunately, numerous people cannot be all of these things and they are forced to believe that they are not beautiful in the eyes of others. Another saying that is very popular is, 鈥淏eauty is only skin deep.鈥?I do not believe that this statement is true for the reason that with all the cosmetic surgery, technology and make-up that we have in the world today beauty is bought and not natural. Beauty can also be determined by a person鈥檚 personality and not necessarily by their looks because the way a person presents him or herself can make all the difference in the world. The most unattractive person can also display beautiful characteristics and it will conceal their appearance. Is beauty only conveyed in one particular color? No, African Americans are produced in many different shades, vanilla, caramel, mocha, coffee and chocolate. Black is in fact beautiful and there is no other race that can measure up to the beauty that is displayed by African Americans. In my opinion, people should not focus solely on the outside appearance because that can damage ones self-esteem. Parents should raise their children to appreciate the thoughts and actions of a person opposed to the looks of a person. Our priorities in American today are not at all in order but maybe one-day society will learn that beauty is not everything.
