How should I cut and color my hair?

I am going in to cut and possibly color my hair in a few days and need some suggestions. I know I want a big change but dont know what. I have dark brown thick naturally curly/wavy hair about two inches passed my collar bone. I am willing to go short or stay long, go blonde or darker. I would say I have an oval face shape. I have been leaning towards a really layered up inverted bob about shoulder length and have thought of going blonde, but no commitments yet. I would LOVE your help! Pictures too please!

side swept bangs are in these days. but if you like to be different, then maybe straight bangs? um i think dark hair would look better with these hair styles. good luck!

I can't find the pic but what you described sounds prefect as far as the cut is concerned. However, I wouldn't go blond because (from experience) I know that the dying process really damages your hair pretty bad and if you have thick curly/wavy hair (like mine is ) then the damage seems worse. so my suggestion is yes, get the cute multi layered bob cut--very cute with the oval face~ and perhaps do some highlighting. go a little slower. you will be happier.
