My guinea pig, Bob, recently had three babies (January 2nd). She had Two girls, and one boy, but they don't seem to be getting along as well any more, and I know it's time to seperate them.
Chad (our little boy) is set to go live with my brother's guinea pig, Oliver. Oliver is a strange guinea pig. He is a tricolored short hair, and weighs atleast 2 pounds. He eats like a monster (eating from a cat bowl we substituted for the small guinea pig bowl, which he devoured usually two times a day). He also has house tipping issues, he tips his pigloo all over the cage, it is never standing in the right way so guinea pigs can rest under it, and it makes me upset to think I am going to put Chad with him. Oliver is not mean at all, he loves other guinea pigs and any company he can absorb from anyone. I'm just afraid he might accidentaly hurt Chad, trying to play with him, or knock the house over on him. Chad probaly isn't one pound yet, maybe, close I guess... I can't leave Chad in with
How to seperate my baby guinea pigs?
Its past time to separate Chad from the girls. Boars can be sexually mature at 3 weeks (21 days) old---so get him out of there!!!
It sounds to me like Oliver is playful and could use some company. I have both boars %26amp; sows that tip their pigloos over all day. I just right them %26amp; an hour later, they're all tipped again. Its a game with them. I think Chad will be just fine with Oliver, especially since he's a baby.
Read this link well %26amp; follow the instructions for introductions. This will help them establish a good relationship. There will be a normal amount of chasing, mounting, sniffing, %26amp; nudging from Oliver, but this is all normal. Don't confuse it for aggression.

How to seperate my baby guinea pigs?
you could keep him in a seperat cage/hutch untill he is a bit bigger.
if your brother guines pig is friendly as you say i would let him take the male as planed. he may be tipping his house over because he is board.
How to seperate my baby guinea pigs?
If the bed tipping is the main thing that is worrying you then make two holes nthrough the back of the pigloo and thread through a peice of string which can then be tied to the cage bars, i know he will still be able to knock it upwards but at least he won't be able to send it flying!.
Even though Oliver gets along with other pigs make sure the cage is thoroughly cleaned with vinegar and water (and everything that is in it) to remove Olivers scent. I am sure they will settle down soon especially as you are introducing Oliver to a baby. Maybe he is so boisterous because he has been a little lonely and had no other cagemate to interact with.
Don't forget baby guinea pigs are very fast and will be quick to get out of the way.
I am sure everything will be fine.

Get a plastic container a big one or a fish tank and leave him in their until he is big enough. baby guinea pigs are so cute because their are born with fur on. my cousins inherited 7 guinea pigs a mom and her babies who were supposed to be all girls but then baby hamsters started to appear , did you want your guinea pig to have babies.
